FMLab offers molds to produce standard specimen in both commercial and experimental thermoplastics.
The available specimen are:
- Tensile Test UNI EN ISO 527:2012 (Type 1A)
- Bending Test UNI EN ISO 178:2011
- Flammability Test UL94
- Impact Test
- Spirals: for evaluation of the viscosity of molten polymers
- Block: used as a semifinished product for the creation of small size prototypes and welding tests
All the specimen can be molted in any thermoplastic material (excluding some of them which cannot be used with high-performace polymers) and all can be used for color evaluation.
